hehe good thing this isn't a political forum cause I got a few choice words for 'em most would be offensive to at least 50% of the American people and probably 75% of Californians, Oregonians, and Washingtonians.

But yes to say the least cutting sale of legal merchandise in a bad economy is without a doubt the absolute best way to create jobs and in general spur the economy right along.... I only wish Chris Gregoire was this smart

I'm not going to remove the thread, but we do have a no politics rule here. I think it is important for people to see the information. But I will keep a close eye on this one.

BTW, instead of complaining on the interweb, the best course of action you can take, is to start making phone calls to you legislators voicing an informed opinion on what effects bills of this sort might have.

Rolling resistance. Confused

Oh I get it now. excessive friction...

Excessive friction Confused

Oh I get it traction

We don't need no stinkin traction...

Traction Confused

Oh I get it smaller tire foot print, less traction in Oregon, home of the Terwilliger curves south of downtown Portland OR.

Heh... All that will do is make more money for tire places in Southern Washington, and Northern California. Laughing

It will go the way of the Washington displacement tax, once the word gets around. You Oregon guys do need to get on the horn about it though.

You may be happy you live in Washington now, but if this passes who will be next?

And yes this is in the true sense of the word political, but I don't think anyone on this site will mind, it has the potential to affect all of us here.

And, while I'm on my soap box, just because you live in Washington doesn't mean you can't send an email protesting this. They have no way of knowing where you live from your email. I have 3 email accounts and I plan on sending emails from all three accounts.

There are dozens and dozens of similar bills that are brought up to the legislature by one party, faction, this or that. So many of them never see the desk of anyone important.

Kind of like the fine based on emissions volume bill that didn't go anywhere. Voice your opinion but don't get bent out of shape just yet. It's no where near a ballot.

While I understand what you are saying, you would be mistaken to say that there is no way of knowing where an E mail comes from.

Send me an Email I'll post for the world your IP Address

And the IP address gives your city and state? AND are going to dig into it enough to find that out?
