so engine is is it cranks fine sprays gas fint through the tb but it backfires through the tb that means its outta time right ? i'm pretty shure all the wires are on right any ideas ? anyone going to be down this way for maybe a quick console ? Embarassed as i said this is the first time i've dug this deep lol any help is help and i need all i can get Laughing

im going to go through and just redo the dist and all wires acc to your spects today cause ise yea it prob is 180 off i think i remember the rotor facing twards the fire wasll i better just redo it

Laughing yup man that thing was load comming right off the manifold to Very Happy now we just have to get all the small things hooked up like exaust and rad and all coolant hoping to get most of it knocked out tonight

if you drive fast enough, you don't need coolant.

I have recently experienced an air cooled SBC. I don't recommend it.

ok engine runs and drives pulled itself out of the garage but theres an oil leak off the back part of the engine somewhere it's not pouring out but a pretty steady drip once it warms up and running and only when its warm and running i've checked all the obvious places any ideas ? im just hoping its not the intake vallyway in the back but i dont know

looks higher than rear main and oil pan i'll have to do more investigating tomarrow someone forgot to tighten down all the hose clamps and now i have to wait for the floor to dry lol
