| If anyone of you guys with a later style Camaro dash could take a couple measurements for me, it would be much appreciated. I'm looking for the height and width of the gauge cluster, as well as how far it is inset from the edge of the dash pad. |

I went to the junkyard and measured one already.
I was wondering if a swap to a 90-92 dash would give me more room for a custom gauge bezel. Seems like it's actually way shorter.
I do like how it's angled up towards the driver though. I hate how the older gauges are at a right angle. Makes no sense. |

Is it from a V8 and does the tach work on it?

| its from a V6 (110 MPH) but the tach doesnt work but it takes like two seconds to make it work and i can fix it for ya but i waiting to fix it cause if i sell it to someone with a v6 it has to be fixed differently than a V8 and the odometer and tripometer dont work |

If you're looking at a swap, cdoyle over on TGO did it. You can try getting in touch with him, but that would be easier over at Car Audio Central (you're a member) - he's the admin over there and goes by Chris from Washington. _________________ 92 Camaro

I'm probably going to do that Al. I had been reluctant ask him since he did a full dash harness swap, and I'm hoping to skate by with my old harness, and just swap the later-model shell.
Since my stock dash harness is already chopped for Autometers, it would suck to have to do it again. If I'm right, I should just have to splice in the headlight switch, defrost switch, lighter, and courtesy lights. |
