So my new LTs are stainless steel (oooo fancy!) and they come with no flanges on the collector. I always had good luck with the standard 3 bolt flange on my old ones once I finally welded them solid instead of the flared type. I have some spare flanges that would work on this size tubing, but they're mild steel no stainless. Is that going to pose a problem If I try welding them? Other than it'll rust and such.

Stainless welds just like MS. Weld em on. They'll rust, but you wont have any adhesion problems.

Thanks Paul!

Are SS 3 bolt exhaust flanges something shops usually stock?

No they aren't normally stocked. They are kinda hard to find. You can get them from Baxter Auto or other speed shops under the Vibrant brand. They'll be over $20 a piece.

I'm finding in the area I'm one of the only guys that builds stainless setups from scratch.

MMAW with Magna 303 or similar, TIG welding by SS would work too
