Lots of lack of info on it other than it's blue and needs starter and freeze plug. RS, Z28, 3.1 V6, 5.0 or 5.7 V8, T5, 700R4??? I have heard that ALL 1992 Camaros have the 25th Anniversary badge on the dash, so that doesn't mean much in that ad. _________________ 92 Camaro

Guess I'm bored also. Found this. Not a bad price for a T56. Been on for a few days now, might pick it up for less than advertised. If I still needed a T56 I'd be all over it. I paid more for mine.

36mm hollow front sway bar - $35
If any of you Oregon guys want to roll out there and check that out for me, as long as it's straight, I can PayPal you for it + some beer money. That way I can just pick it up at dyno. |

$800 is just a start. By the time you get the T56 rebuilt and in your car you are probably looking at around $2000. But.......it's one of the best mods you will ever do to your car hands down.
If you could grab this and then start collecting parts, that would be the way to go. I think there is also a T56 LS1 adapter to use with a stock style clutch for sale on TGO. |

Glad to hear it. If you need any help going through the trans, let me know. I also have a few spare T56 parts from my dummy trans I use to check my speedo cable conversions with, and I made the special tool to check the auxililary countershaft end play. Be glad to loan it to you.
I think I may also have a solinoid or two you will need. Looks like they have all been stripped off this trans. The skip shift hole you block off using an oil pan plug. I have the info at home on this. And if money is tight, I have a stock shifter you can use til you get a better one.
So........only one step behind now? |

Lol, always one step behind you Dan...
Paul is going to go look at it with me, to make sure it isn't a lemon. I'll be in contact with you about stuff I need. I am probably not going to be swapping right away, but figured I had the money to pick it up right now, so its a start.
