hey guys, im looking to swap my Lo3 out and was wondering if my T5 would bolt up to an LT1 motor?

If an LT1 T56 will go on a LO3, I'm sure the opposite could hold true.. I don't think it would be a good idea being the LT1 was rated at 300ft.lbs and I don't think the T-5 will handle it.

I see, i might be able to get a good deal on an lt1 and wanted to make sure i could use my t5 till i can source a t56 to replace it after the motor swap. it seems i can pick up a iron headed LT1 /ecu for much less than a t56. that huge Hp jump would be worth the swap, id baby it with the T5 its a WC unit so its a lil stronger.

T5 will be fine until you put sticky tires on it.
