I like that Z28 of yours. has kind of a sinister look to it. I like it better than an SS. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

Okay Ladies and Gents. Here is the ScOOp.
~Friday~
Drag Racing. Weather permitting. So far looks good. Just incase saturday isn't nice, Dewey and I voted race Friday for sure. Probably easiest to meet up at the race track in the 630-7pmish area since people work and so forth. For those who haven't met anyone Dewey has a blue camaro and I have a white one. Look for us and we can direct you to the group if you aren't racing. Stop by the house before 6pm if you have beverage you want to drop off. There is no outside alcohol at the track. Otherwise partake in the beer stop afterwards. Typically they just ask if you have any.
Afterwards we tend to make a quick beer stop and order some pizzas. This is usually around 11pm.
~Saturday~
Mid morning breakfast. Elmers near by. Then we can cruise, or just head back to my place and BS, up for grabs.
Late afternoon we can do BBQ. Brandy and I will get some burgers and some sausage type things.
Evening. Up to everyone weather or not they want to go hit the race track again or just get the party started early :O)
~Sunday~
Breakfast of some sorts and whatever from there!
Here is the address and my number and some quick directions.
From North:
-I5 South
-Exit 4 (78th st)
-Left on 78th (east)
-Right on St Johns (south)
-Left on 49th (east)
-Left on 40th (north)
-House on the right hand side before the curve.
From the South:
-I5 North to SR 500 East
OR
-205 North to SR 500 West
-Turn north on St Johns (respectively)
-Right on 49th (east)
-Left on 40th (north)
-House on the right hand side before the curve. |

If it's going to be your first time there are a few things you should be sure of before you leave your house.
-You MUST wear full length pants without any holes in them.
- you MUST wear at least a T-shirt. (no cut offs or tank tops)
- Battery must be secure.
- coolant overflow container
- no leaks from anywhere on the car.
- T-tops must be on. (so don't leave them at home)
- must have functioning running and brake lights
- no loose items in the drivers compartment
- if you are running slicks then you must have a drive shaft loop
- SNELL 2000 or newer helmet required with on any convertible
- valid drivers license
- you must be 18 and older or have a signed consent form from a parent or guardian
- if your car is louder than 90dB at WOT then you can't race past 10pm
- must have a muffled exhaust (turbo, glasspacks even catalytic converters count as a muffling device)
-103dB is our max decibel limit.
- if you have relocated the battery to the rear then it must be contained in a Moroso sealed battery box if it's plastic (no those cheap marine boxes won't work) or a steel box and a functioning battery cut off switch accessible and labeled on the rear of the car
- Neutral safety switch and reverse lockout.
-If you have nitrous the bottle must be secured and vented outside of the car.
at 13.99 and quicker you need:
Snell 2000 or newer rated helmet
at 11.49 in the quarter mile or 8.59 in the 1/8 mile and quicker you need:
-5 point roll bar
-roll bar padding
-SFI approved fire jacket
-SFI approved bell housing
-SFI approved clutch/flywheel
-SFI approved driver restraint system (4 or 5 point harnesses and less than two years old)
-driveshaft loop
at 10.99 and quicker you need all of the above plus:
-roll cage (135mph)
-SFI approved harmonic balancer
-SFI approved trans shield
-aftermarket rear axles
here's the link to PIR's drag racing site. There are some more links on the page if you have any more questions or need more clarification on the ET requirements.

at the very least you can just direct the overflow hose into a water bottle or something similar. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

We will, in fact, just barely tolerate you.
JJJuuuuuuuuuuust kidding.
My 87 is almost road worthy. It's gutted while I recarpet from the fire... but I just don't think I've got the time to get it together by Saturday.
So, I'll most likely do the 69 instead... but I won't be racing it. _________________ "Are you guys ready? Let's roll."

Sausage "type" things?
I'm afraid to ask.
Anyhow, someone will post periodically to let folks know what's going on Saturday and where we are or what our most current plans are in case anyone wants to show up or meet up that night. _________________ Picture of 'Scort goes here |

Cool, I hope to see a bunch of you there. I'm going to try to get to the track around 6pm, to get in line for tech early. So, if you want to head up early, just look for my car.
