Ok, so I've been driving since i put the motor in with no rear brakes, so tonight I thought I might see if I could find what the problem is.

Petal feels really firm, and the fronts seem to be getting full pressure.

opened where the chassis line to the rear axle meets that soft line. No fluid. stood on the petal with the line open. Still nothing.

Traced the rear brake line along the chassis looking for kinks or crimps in the line. Everthing seemed pretty okay there.

Opened the line that goes from the combo valve down the rear of the chassis. Same thing. No fluid, even when I stand on the petal. tried the same thing and opened both the front lines. I didn't even have to touch the petal and they were weeping fluid after I cracked the lines open.

Logically I would assume my combo valve is shot. I have a disc brake rear. Would I be better off to try to replace it with a stocker or JY part, or just pony up the dough and get like a willwood adjustable now?

Thanks in advance guys.

Well a JY combo would only be a couple bucks? And maybe an hour or so of work to swap it out? Seems really easy that way.

That said, I'd go for the adjustable. It'd clean up some of the clutter on that side. And no sense in spending time and money to put back in an old 'okay' part.

I vote for the junkyard part, but I am cheap.

I'd offer up my old combo valve, but it's for a drum rear. I removed it in favor of an SSBC adjustable one.
