Alright guys, as you know, I am always working on adding new features, and making the website a little better.

So, I have a couple of things here and there that I have been working on, but what I would like to know, is what features would you all like to see added to the site. I am never sure what sort of things to look into, and start working on. So I would like some ideas, so I can do some research, and testing, etc for new features.

Any idea, no matter how crazy is welcome.

Thanks Everyone!

I know a lot of you guys have some kind of messenger service, but some kind of Instant Messenger for just the crew site?

I found the use for this the other night.

A side bar, like in one of the margins with upcoming events and/or announcements such as birthdays (requires input on registration or update of profiles). Many of us have a shortcut to bypass the home page and miss some of that info. Maybe even something across the top of the page Idea

a neat idea, but i am of the opinion that if you are bypassing the main page, you are probably in the know. one of the great things about the Crew site is that it is not an ugly clusterfu-- like TGO. if you want that info, simply go to the mainpage, or read the event calender.

sorry to "rain on your parade" or whatever, but i am apposed to cluttering up the message board.

other then an "attachment" feature i can't think of anything the crew site could use. and i think we have vetoed that in the past due to server space requirements.

Very Happy

I do love the site. Can I be given access to "naughty" emoticons? More along the line of the leg humping....I find it hard to explain myself without the aid of lewd smiley faces.

For server space you may want to consider the stripped format (archiving) some of the other forums do to old threads. I think camaroz28.com does this for their old threads. Other than that I think the site does well.

A chat area would be cool with group and private areas. Especially when you are trying to get as much info as you can without needing a phone call. But I think most of us are close enough and patient to just give eachother a call if the need really arises.

Haha, I like the Dear Rodney Idea!!!

We have quite a bit of server space, I think I can probabably do the attachment bit. I know that is a feature of phpbb v.3, I have been looking into upgrading, but as of now, the garage would be lost if I upgraded, so I am waiting for the garage format to be supported.

I can get it to work on this board though, I will sure look at adding that.

I will look at sidebars/topbars/etc, and see what kind of options there are, I am trying to make everything stay uncluttered though.

Chat -- That is easy to add a generic chat program, I can do that, and we can see how it goes, we used to have a chat room feature, that never got used.

Keep the ideas coming guys, at least I have a couple of things to start looking at.

I volunteered to challenge you wife but I don't know what the challenge should be and all the suggestions thus far have been either unsafe or terribly unhygienic. Do you have any suggestions?

Dear Rodney,

I cannot decide on a candidate to endorse. I firmly feel I need to see all of them in the coveted "tutu." How can I make this happen so that I can make an edumakated decision?

Yeah but we're not suppose to talk about politics, even if it is a discussion about politicians in green tutus.
