Im picking up a pair of GTA Wheels, will they fit my 91 drum brake rear Firebird, without any issues? I dont know for sure, but im assuming all the GTA's had disk brake rears. I think they should bolt right up, just wondering if i'll need spacers. any input would be most appreciated.

They should bolt up fine. Depending on which drum brakes you have, you may *want* the spacer to space them out a bit though.

My TA came stock with those wheels and drum brakes with the spacer. Don't know what purpose the spacer served. Took it off the first time I did my brakes.

The idea of the spacer is to keep your wheels from bonding to the drums or getting a wash of rust on the backside of the rim.

Shrug

Dunno how useful it is. That's just the only purpose I've ever heard that they serve.

I'd heard that before Chris, but I would think that two like-metals would stick together easier than two different types of metals? But then again I'm not a chemist. Laughing
