hey guys,

i found a car down in portland and im most likely coming down on sunday to pick it up. ive never been down there before, what all is there to see & do? have any of you heard of wildcat auto wrecking in sandy OR? (its a mopar yard). how far away is that from portland?

also, any of you know what all is involved in buying a car from out of state? will i be taxed more, or have to pay some kind of fine? the guy told me he "I have tow lien cetificate (good as title) and bill of sale". do any of ya'll know what the heck a tow lien certificate is? should i be woried about it>

anyways.....maybe ill see some ya'll down there.

tow lien pretty much means the car was towed, bill was never payed,or its actually a mechanics lien, which also means it might have been towed to a shop, and work performed, and the bill was never paid,so they put a DMV tow,or mechanics lien on it,gives the owner something of 30 days to pay it in full,or they forfit the ownership of the car, then the company can sell the vehicle to recoup there losses...i had to do this once with my shop.

and btw, sandy is where my ex gf lives..last i remember its about half hour from downtown funky ptown

farshin,we can take my truck down there and haul the car back if yua want...im headed to seattle right now, gimme a call on my cell phone.

Nothing much really, you'll still basically have to pay sales tax on it though. They call it the "Washington state use tax" or something like that.

Me and the wife are headed for Seaside/Cannon Beach on Saturday. We'll wave at y'all from the Kelso-Longview bridge! Very Happy

BTW, any of you near Sherwood? If you're ever there stop by the five corners Chevron. My uncle owns it and my cousin is the head mechanic (he knows his GM sh*t too!) Cool
