you got it.

Looking for a "temporary" engine I can stuff in the berlinetta until I get the 383 done. I need to be able to cruise with you guys for dyno after all! Its even looking like I might even be using it as a daily for at least a little bit.

something in the Free to $500 range is prefered, but negotiable on condition. Severe smokers, Hydraulic Roller engines, and rod knock need not apply.

Don't need belts or pullies or a dizzy, just a long block.

http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/pts/667342242.html 305 complete except intake. $100 FOREST GROVE. best deal, close. pull the trigger on this one. call tomorow. chris... do it.

http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/pts/670073631.html 350, seller says it ran, tons of tq, no smoke. $400, in corvallis, but will split cost of fuel for portland delivery

http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/pts/666717650.html TWO 305's out of 86 camaros. both compleate, both run. $300 for both. turn around and sell the other, make some money back. chehalis.

roller cams need not apply? this is a temporary motor, get off your "manual/mechanical" everything pedestal and get that camaro running.

this guy has been trying to sell this thing for a while. I've called about it before. Nobody's called me back.

Sent the dude the "reply to :xxxxx" email since he doesnt' have a phone number. We'll see. I'm a little cautious about a guy who will deliver a motor 71 miles for free. Suggests to me there's something very wrong with it. I'm not going to spend $400 on a motor that may not even make it as far as skamakowa.

Haven't checked this one out, but I will.

its not a pedestal Tony, I'd have to replace the cam or deal with buying an electrical fuel pump and FPR if I go with a roller cam motor because it doesn't have the lobe for the fuel pump rod, and like you said, this is temporary, so I don't want to invest a huge amount of money into it.

Find a cheap electric fuel pump at yard sale.

Give the guy $1

Hook it up to the tiny 1/4" return line since you never removed the intank pump.

Enjoy for the next 3 years.

At least that's what I have done. Laughing

Seriously you have a factory carbed car so the fuel pickup and lines are already right. Add a cheapo electric pump and your in business if the engine doesn't have a pump lobe.

I think an easier route is to convince paul to give me his peanut cam and buy a set of lifters.

No Pukey. NO PUKEY AT ALL.

FOR CHRIS THIS IS PERFECT.

IF HE CAN GET A RUNNING MOTOR FOR FREE OR ALMOST FREE HE CAN GET HIS BLOCK INTO THE MACHINE SHOP TO PREP FOR THE 383 AND BE GUARUNTEED A SHOT AT GETTING TO COWS IN THE THIRDGEN.

LG4 IS PERFECT! ROLLER WITH CAM LOBE FOR FUEL PUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
