So, my buddy called me up and told me we were going white water rafting. 10 minutes later I throw all my stuff in my craftsman duffel bag and we drive down to Bend, Oregon.

Then we hit the Big Eddy (which is on the Rogue River?) it was pretty cool. A lot of class 2 stuff, and then half a dozen class 3's and one class 4. Nothing too spectacular, but in 104 degree temprature it was pretty rad to cool off rafting instead of some lame pool.

It was free for me cause his parent's paid for the whole thing , but if any of you guys are looking for something to do I would highly reccomend it. Just a fun way to spend a morning, and you don't need any training or experience.

Kewl, rafting is a lot of fun.

i've gone down the upper descutes more time than I can count. I have some pretty crazy stories. 1 included trying to take one of those little inflatable kyaks throught a BIG class 4. and another floating a 2mile stretch of 3+4's in my lifevest.
