Rock on!

Just had to share my happiness. I just got a new palm treo 755 to replace my 3 year old palm treo 650. Very happy. I don't know how many of you out there have a palm OS PDA, but this latest version is very cool. Here's a pic of my old phone (left) and my new one (right)

I got this one from ebay. I hate the idea of using ebay but it got me what i wanted. Sprint wanted 500 something, 400 with a discount for being a long time user, and i got this for 300 new in box. Very important words to took for on ebay. NEW IN BOX. It had never been opened which was cool.

This phones uses a different style of communications for data downloads. Holy crap. I just downloaded at almost 20kB/sec!

that phone uses 3G ... very nice... I almost got one but then started playing with it and it was just too heavy and bulky for my liking (being a waiter, trying to keep things of that size in your pocket sucks) ... I went with a T-Mobile Dash with an upgraded processor and internal memory... it's quite nice... WM6 plus T-Mobiles Edge as well as 3G capability, bluetooth, beaming, wireless access, etc... definitely worth it...

I need one badly. My memory is really crappy. I've always used a planner until I discovered PDA's. I don't mind the bulk cause its either this or a planner, or a phone AND PDA.

true, true...

I like them, but the bulk made me go with one with no touch screen... plus, running into stuff all the time = bad for touch screen, even with a cover on it

it's about as thick as a triple a battery, and only slightly wider than a razr, with a full qwerty keyboard... simple-ish and nice hehe

plus it supports certain data logging software so I can hook it up to my camaro haha

How do you get it to do that? I sync mine with the computer so it has a USB interface. Wish I could get an ALDL datalogger/troubleshooter for PALM.

my phone has a funky connector on the back. However, it does have an cable with a usb end on it so I can sync it with my computer. If I find the software I'm going to try to hook it up via that cable to the usb connector on my moates cable. Should work without too much complication. Its just wire after all.

I found a www.pocketlogger.com but I'm having troubles finding anything else. Any suggestions for a palm operating ALDL software?

:edit:

Just found something that might work. I'm going to try it at home.
