alright for those folks out there that have installed the buckets from Schucks, i need some help.
i know Ian has these installed in his car, but does anyone else or have any info that can help
the stock mounting brackets dont line up w/ the holes in the seat & the bracket is slightly convex & the seat bottoms are straight.
the brackets on the seats dont have any legs to go to the floor
how have you installed these?
i could drill another hole in the bottom of the seat, but that still wont fix the convex problem.
thanxs all |

I used the stock brackets. I aligned the front holes with the front of the seat and drilled new holes in the back using the brackets as a guide.
Voila!

I had the rivets holding the brackets to the slides ground out. Then I had the brackets welded to the slides on the new seats using the same rivet holes. Front side of the driver's seat needed mounts fabbed up out of square steel stock. Here's a pic of the driver's side bracket in the front.

The front part of the slide extends out and curves down to also become the bracket that bolts to the floor. Won't work with my seats. _________________ 92 Camaro

Maybe the brackets on my GTA seats are diff Sean. They are perfectly flat on top (bottom of seat).
I think Al had his done to allow more rearward travel and to keep the seat low. Mine ended up sitting a little bit higher than the factory seats.
You got mad skillz yo! Weld up a set.

They actually sit a little high, but that is the seats I think. I have about 9 1/2" front to rear travel though way more than I need. _________________ 92 Camaro
