Last week:

And tonight.

This was the damaged quarter.

Can you believe this is slinky's door??

The roof where it was buckled.

Also started wet sanding tonight. Got a bit more dust in this paint then last time. Think it will all come out ok though.

I'm loving that color. Looks similar to mine in direct sunlight, minus all the imperfections. Good choice. Although I've heard that you want to wait a while before you start wet sanding. Something like a couple of weeks? That's just what I've read. Hope you get it done in time.

You couldnt afford it tony. .I actually hate painting. This is the exact same color as before.. in fact some of the paint is from before. Dupont says its best to cut and polish this clear any time from 2-72hrs after its sprayed. "for best results" Every type of paint is different, best to check with the manufacturer of what you're using.

i have never painted a whole car before, but my main issue is nowhere to paint. my apartment complex might look down on me painting in their parking lot. Laughing

I think I'm a founding member of that club Jake. Did it last time in like 2001. .pics were on our old board though.

Anyway, did some wet sanding and polishing. Polished out the worst fender. So far I've only used the medium and fine grits. Haven't hit it with the swirl remover or glaze yet. But check it out. Looking like a pretty good mirror!

A few pics from tonight. Taking a long time to cut/buff. Really coming out with good reflective properties though. Here's how the hoods coming out. Check out the reflection of the bench in the last pic. Rest of the car still has to go through a couple of buffs with fine/swirl/glaze yet.
