Paul, you should consider using a mobil1 or amsoil 15 micron filter on that new engine, and maybe even consider adding a 1 micron bypass filter also.
I'm using the SDF76 2 quart amsoil filter on my car. Only cost me $10.80 each. And am adding a 1 micron bypass filter also. That will probably set me back maybe $50-$60.
I've spent some time researching oil filters and bypass filters. I'm running either mobil1 or amsoil filters on all my vehicles now, and will have bypass filters on all of them soon. The bypass filter would be especially important on a new engine like yours. |
