Myspace is single handedly bringing preverts and slutty 13 year-olds, together.

Chris, YOU put the "ew" in crew.
on a more serious note, I agree. that and the fact that it is juvenile are two reasons I do not use myspace. |

Wow, I didn't realize that anyone had made a post towards me. Very welcoming, I must say. No the T/A is not mine, my car is the '85 Z28. I haven't done anything to the car but the previous owner has. The main issue that I'm trying to clear up right now is registration.
I bought the car way back on September 5th from some kid in Portland. Later on that month i go to get it registered only to realize that some guy (not the one I bought it from) had his signature in the lien holder place. So I've been trying to find the original owner of the car so he could sign it to me. I finally found him about a month ago and the story is:
Todd D. originally owned the car. He sold it to some lady who was making payments to him but eventually stopped making payments and got into a hit and run accident. Someone saw her and reported the car, but since it was still registered to Todd he got charged with it and is going to court. The lady sold it to Andrew (person I bought it from). Andrew owned the car for 6 months and eventually sold it to me and now I'm stuck with this mess.
enough of that. I haven't done anything to the car except find out more stuff about it. I found out that Todd had cut an access panel for the fuel pump, which came in very handy when i had to replace that thing. It has some after market cat back exhaust one it with a gutted cat. The cars in fairly good condition but I managed to snag it up for $1850. I am actually selling it for $3000 soon. Don't worry I'm only selling because I found a '91 Z28 with a manual tranny. I just don't like automatics.
This is getting kind of long but I just want to say thanks for the warm welcoming. |

good luck with the sale. good decision.
Manual trannsmission cars kick ass. most of the cars in the crew have manual trannsmissions at this point. not all of them started that way. if you do get stuck with an auto, we can fix it. we can make it stronger (by swapping a manual) faster (by swapping a manual) better (by adding a manual) we have the technology (manual trannsmissions) _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).

agreed. I'm not a fan of automatics in F-bodies.
If you just want one that's a stick, its way easier (and cheaper) to buy a 5 speed and to swap it in on a car that already runs, then to go buy another car and have to kind of "start over" _________________

Not if you can register the new car that you buy. |

or at least regester it with the correct VIN right chris
but for real, I agree with Chris. however it seems to me that unlike most of the cases of starting over you are actualy going to MAKE some money on this one. so I say go for it. |
