Well, i'm excited, and thought that I would post. For those who don't know, my little brother is aspiring to be a fighter pilot. He got an Air Force Academy appointment, but ended up turning it down, to go the U of Portland ROTC program (it produces a higher percentage of pilots, then even the USAFA does).

Anyway, he has worked really hard, and just found out today that he got a pilots spot, and will be going to flight school right after graduation next year!

So, I'm an excited and proud big brother, and had to share.

One of my buddies went to the USAF Academy and became an F16 pilot. Getting to be a fighter pilot is tough and you have to make high marks in training. You should be proud of your brother. That's a big accomplishment!

Yeah, he is REALLY excited, he has wanted to be a fighter pilot since he was like 5, and saw Top Gun. Very Happy

Yeah, he worked REALLY hard, I am amazed at how many diffrent things are taken into account when you are going for something as competative as a flight spot like this.

When you first met me, he was probably applying for the academy and stuff. wow, time does fly.
