OK Let me explain this video beforehand. This was the run that I blew up my tranny on. When I was preparing to launch I had to transbrake at the last second and that why the car rolled forward. Then l8ter on down the track you will hear the car not shift into 3rd. What happened was a bushing spun in the front pump and cut off circulation to the rest of the trans. after the run all I had was first gear and that was it lol. But I figured I would throw it up here anyways. Car ran 11.70 this is a no nitrous run. Hopefully now that i have all that fixed as well as some other items done I will get some clean runs this year as well as shave some more off!
Edit: Sorry about the crappy footage the Fiance promises to get better with the camera this year also! lol _________________

Car looks to run hard. I never had that problem but I did blow up a converter and after the run it was stalling around 5000, was fun to get on trailer. I would post a video but its not a camaro but a nova and thats not allowed. |

I was going to say that the track looked familiar to me. Car halls balls dude. I also know what its like to blow a trany up. Did it to my 700r4 on the street a day after i turned 21. That sucked cause i had a cold and was hung over. What you got for a tans now? _________________ Thirdgenless |

TH-350 all the upgrades. Protree trans brake. Reverse manual valve body. 4k stall (on a motor pass). Works ok hopefully it will hold together this season. already shaved time on the 1/4 dyno simulator so I know it will be faster now.
NHRA: That thing sounds good man! What kinda times were you producing in that thing. Seems like FAST to me! _________________

10.50s at Woodburn track in 99. Could have shaved a little off that with new tires, the slicks were 20.00 at a swap meet, |

| I can tell you for a fact that the pinion support is a must in a 9". I had a pinion shoot out and through the floor landing behind me inside. Nice setup you have there. I was running 4.56, spool with dutchman axles. I was also running 32" slicks |

I really liked the 4.56's but I needed to dig a little deeper into the grunt of my motor. Also having such a high stall made it totally different. I was running 124 with the 700-r4 I built up. It had a 2400 holeshot. with the 4.56's then when I went to the TH-350 I lost a few MPH and dropped the gear back down now I am up again in MPH with no ET suffer seems like at least.
It was explained to me that I REALLY needed to put in the Pinion support when launching on a transbrake. I am glad I did! _________________
