I'll go ahead and say its a waste.

If you wanna go "muddin" or go offroad, the easier way would have been to get a K5 Blazer and do that (unless you're Rod... Twisted Evil

). Probably would have been much cheaper with all the modification that had to be done to make that camaro suitable.

Orginal? sure. Cool? Not Necessarily.
