Do both of you have the weather striping at the backside of the hood to cowl area? Meaning, no water gets back there?

Yeah, its still there. The box stays pretty dry.

There's the factory weather stripping on my hood. I had it for 3 years until the coil took it out. Sent it in for repairs, no water damage.

Works fine for me.

i just got my 6AL box, and i was wondering if when you guys mounted yours, did you use the vibration mounts?

We mounted ours inside the car next to the drivers right leg, much better than under the hood.
No problems, but we did have an intermittent ground problem that we fixed.
Ours is the digital one but if you do this you can put a different pill in for rev limit quick and easy, plus less dirt/vibration.

I didn't use the vibration mounts either. Would have had to access the back of the fire wall or needed longer sheet metal screws to do it.
