Yep, got word last week they finally put my name on the list so I will be in CA no later than February for 6 months of desert training, then off to Iraq by August.
I'll get leave before I deploy, so Im looking forward to hanging out in the ol PNW, and Ill have some money saved up, then I do the TTA shopping. 
That is all.

I dunno, I have a hard time doing my job sometimes. One of my partners is that typical asshole cop and I pretty much refuse to write people tickets for stupid crap... i.e. parking against the flow of traffic, rolling stop signs, etc. I guess it goes back to when I was a hooligan and did stuff like "autocross the freeway."
But, I hate garrison MP stuff, and can not wait to get back to my unit which is a Field unit. With the training I have I'll most likely gunner on the Humvee.  |

you won't need a booster seat or something to see out of the turret thinger on top will you?

Actually, the gunner doesnt use a seat at all. And it's very uncomfortable. |
