Thanks to iansane, rsfreak, and steve for coming out today to help diagnose that the flywheel on my 98 Camaro is toast. Good times had by all!

Thankfully Ian was doing most of the work! _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

Yeah, well, what are crewbies for?!
Although later Steve brought up the idea that the crank itself might be broken which I doubt severely. I still think it's just the flywheel. :crossesfingers: _________________

No, but Steve did throw a few sockets at Ian's head!
Ian, I don't think the crank is broken, however I am mistified by the way the flywheel turns so 'smoothly', not like it has broken around the 'hub' for lack of a better term. |
