| My Haynes manual says a bit different, though it covers all years 1982-1992. The only V6 torque spec it list for me is for the intake manifold (assuming maifold to engine), at 23 ft-lbs. |

Hmm... mine is "Chevrolet Camaro 1982 thru 1992 - All Models" copyright is in '99. Maybe they updated it a few times or something. |

| Looks like yours is the newer one. I have copyrights listed 1984, 1987, 1989, 1991, 1993. Looks like time to find a newer manual. |

| Haynes used to be a sweet manual. I've got an old chevelle one, it even has a cross reference listing certain part #s to engine size and hp. If I remember right though haynes was bought by chiltons. Seems like mitchell might even have been in there, but that may just be the time books. |

All you need to torque are Rod bolts, main bolts, head bolts.
And on a 2.8 The lower intake. |

And lug nuts.
After I managed to get the lugs on my pickup so insanely tight with an impact once, I started to torque lug nuts. I have 32 lug nuts on the pickup, each one I had to let the compressor build to 140 psi and I could get one broke free. All day project rotating tires. |

Same thing with my Dad's truck. 32 lugs @ 120 or something ft lbs. Did it all by hand with a breaker bar too. |

LoL I don't think I've ever torque a lug nut.

| There's alot of things I don't torque.. Just like Paul. If i'm using a star wrench on lugnuts then I don't bother torquing them. But if I'm using an air wrench then I do torque. Main thing with lugs is to get them all even, or you'll warp the rotors. |
