I ran into the same problem when i put my th350 in my z28. The drive line off the 700r4 was too short, so ihad to use the drive line from the 200r tranny that was hooked up to a 2.8. I also found that the 700r4 torque arm is also too short. _________________ 85 Z28, 383 Stroker, TH350 tranny, Richmond 4.10 gears, dual exhaust

i figured out the problem, when i had my th350 built, i sent a core, but my buddy that built it for me didnt like that core, ended up having a crack in the housing i didnt see hehe, well the one i sent was a long shaft out of my el camino, well he built me one with a short shaft, making it to short, o well i guess i will just fire the little mouse this weekend, and not drive it, bec im not going to spend any money lenghing a drive shaft that is week anyway, then put in the 9in ford and have a new one made, a waste of money to do it. but it sucks i wanted to take it around the block. o well

| Yep I had mine with the 9" tailshaft. Stocker driveline was actually about an inch too short. Still ran fine though at the track too. |
