That's a hell of a looker man.
How does it run with that converter? Are the Vigilante's worth the extra cash? |

Thanks guys.
I'm not too terribly fond of the Vigilante for normal driving but at the track it definately works! Normal driving, you can feel it lock/unlock when it reaches it's set points in the PROM, actually feels like it shifts into a mystery gear... my very own automatic 5 speed!
The cam is a Comp Cam, 230/236, .544/.555 lift, small base circle due to the 6" rods. I like the setup, it actually gets 15 MPG as long as I keep my foot out of it! _________________ 1990 IROC-Z, 383 HSR, 3.70 9-Bolt

Nice looking car Tim!!!
You'd be one of the first (that I know of) here to have a sub 13 sec pass at the track.
All the Red team's been able to put out is 14.6@ 116. _________________

wow... team black is beating team red. my GTA pumped out a 14.3 . all stock with headers.
team white in 2nd. paul has put down LOW LOW 13 second passes.
so the TEAM score card goes...
1st. blue. Iroc MEGAMAN 12.2 @ 111
2nd. white. Twilightoptics. 13.1x @ ???
3rd. Black. Xophertony. 14.3 @ 97
4th Red. Schultzy89GTA 14.6 @ 116
wow.. i am out of colors. also please note that i am by NO means the 3rd fastest in the crew. i am just the fastest black car (that i can think of off hand, anyone have a faster timeslip in a black 3rd gen?), and team black has the 3rd fastest 1st place guy. in reality there are atleast 3 other blue cars faster then me (rodney, wolfy, john, brandon?). _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).

wasn't Rich's old car black, I am sure that put down faster than a 13sec time slip.
As for Red, I am not sure if Cheezy has run his car yet, but it should be fast. Qwktrip (Jon's) car, gets fast credit, even though it hasn't moved in like 6 years.
You are also forgetting other blue members, they just don't post all that much, or at all lately. Craiger/Raiden clocked some great times with his supercharged 92Z.
The black team has a lot of ground to make up. Althougn, isn't NathanJ's car black right now? He may be your only hope at keeping up. To bad he would have to average it out with your car Tony. |
