i can bring parts up to cows for people. i have the following stuff cluttering up my place you can have for FREE:

1X TPI camaro intake. the "dual snorkle" TPI intake. two like new filters included. i would like money, but realy just want it gone.

1X used remote hatch pop for a non power pulldown car.

2X 14" "snowflake" wheels. FREE, please just take them

1X used AC fan motor WORKS well

1X rear stock 82-88 brake rotor in good shape.

the following i have for sale but are not quite free.

1X NEW remote hatch pop for a power pulldown car. $2

2X power door lock celinoids used. 1$

4X "IROC" wheels. $150 for the set of four. no center caps

1X 4th gen shifter M.O

1X 4th gen ebrake handle M.O

1X 3rd gen shifter with T-handle for the 700R4 M.O

1X AC compressor. suposedly works. came off my GTA before i bough it. M.O

1X "power bulge" hood scoop 1$

if anyone wants anything email/PM me or post here and i will bring it to cows. most of the "free" stuff will get chucked or ebayed if no one takes it by cows. most of the not free stuff is flexable pricing. i am also willing to trade for stuff.

Do you mean the actuators? (electronic module that throws the linkage)

If so, I'll PayPal you a buck for it, assuming someone from around here going down to Cows would be kind enough to throw it in their glovebox for me, since I can't go.

these are the actual celenoids, like the motors that move the rods and unlock the door. and don't bother with paypal. it would cost you three dollars to send me one. if you wan't em you can have em. Smile

I always thought that the solenoid was just the electromagnet inside. Either way, it's cool. I don't really use my power locks at all anyway, but it'd be nice to fix it.

no, you're right. that is what it is. but it sounded like you were confused so i put it in laymens terms. these are the electromagntet celenoids that phisically move the lock mechanism.

you mentioned that yours are broken, do they try and unlock, but are just unable, or do they do nothing when you press the botton?

When I bough the car, the linkage inside the driver's door was shot. I got an actuator off an old Buick, along with some of the linkage. DIdn't really help, as it would unlock, but not lock. Shimmed it up, but now i have the opposite problem. Can't be unlocked with the power locks.

I'm actually not thinking the actuator is broken. It may well be bent though.

Actually, I don't need those anymore. I got another one out of a junker, and it cost me nothing, so I'm good.

Sorry, man.

Just an FYI, you don't have to hack up the wiring. There is actually a plug on those, although it doesn't look like it.

she used to. we sold it about a year ago. it wasa white 89 2.8L auto with earo GFX and a base wing. it was a piece of shizzle. we sold it on ebay for 1600 to a guy in nebraska who wrecked his 89TA. he was going to transplant all the TA stuff over. since the drivetrain was going bye bye i took it as an oportunity to see if an auto 2.8 could powerbrake. they can Twisted Evil
