Back window wiper? does anyone else have one? Or were they a thing on the early 3rd gen and then they realized they are ugly as hell and not really needed. Cuz I think I'm going to take mine off and plug the hole this summer. _________________ 1983 Z-28 5.7 LT1, T56, Headman headers, BW 9 Bolt Posi Disc, WS6 suspension

If I had one I'd keep it. Kinda cool in a weird way.
I think only optioned on like 82-86 cars. |

Mine used to have one...I have the tab on my roof. The Hatch itself was swapped at some point in the life of the car to one without. _________________

They do. Xophertony (I think) told me once that they were prone to leaking though and would beed onto the headliner. _________________

| yeah, the hoses would pop off of the nipple on the inside of the roof. then everytime you hit the "washer" button you would spray water into your headliner. i read about it in the "history/restoration" board on TGO a while back. you could of course use a hoseclamp to solve this problem. |

Yeah, I really don't like it. I never use it anyways, I mean the only time I look back is to see how far back a ricer or mustang is anyways. and they aren't worth looking at. _________________ 1983 Z-28 5.7 LT1, T56, Headman headers, BW 9 Bolt Posi Disc, WS6 suspension

It doesn't even work, I might be able to get it to work if I worked at it, but its not worth it to me. So its gettin the boot! Plus it makes the car look more streamline _________________ 1983 Z-28 5.7 LT1, T56, Headman headers, BW 9 Bolt Posi Disc, WS6 suspension

| on the 82-90 (or whenever the "iansane's car" style dash came into play) they had a switch on the dash with three buttons, like the foglight or rear defrost. i have one at home i will take a pic of. i don't know if they were offered in 90+ modles. |

My dash IS the 90+ style.
I think that they stopped the wiper in 86 or something. |
