I realize this shouldn't be in this forum but I pulled the thing for anyone else anyways.

I was at the JY the other day and noticed a thirdgen with no AC that still had the delete box. I started to pull the thing and when I got to the two bolts on the inside of the car I realized why the car was in the junkyard. The 'maro was hit so hard on the passanger side rear that the bumper crumpled into the door. Funny I didn't see that while sitting in the engine bay. Laughing The first few bolts took all of ten minutes to locate the right size and unscrew; the last two took another hour of pulling, tugging, twisting and jumping back and forth from out of the passanger side t-top to wrestle it out. Man was that a pain in the ass. Laughing

At least I was already wet from helping a buddy try to pull a transmission.

Anyways! Does anyone want this thing? I can bring it to the dyno gathering. I only payed $25 for it, so I figured someone could use it. I already have one. Crewbies get first dibs obviously, otherwise I'll just ebay it.

$25 and a brew sound fair? I'm willing to negotiate. $25 and two brew would work for me as well. Very Happy

Crewbie sale, for the win!

Yeah, I figure If no one wants it here I could eBay it or sell it on tg.o for quite a bit less. Just trying to cut some crewbies a deal. Smile

Laughing Yeah, I'm not sure why I even had to think about what size it was. Damn 10mm...

I'm going to assume that I'd need to use the blower motor assembly/blower motor wheel when I put in my delete box, so no. If I don't then yes. Smile

Edit, sale pending.

Not too bad. It's got connectors in the door. Just pull your door skin, and it's two of those ghetto plastic stud/thin sheet metal nuts that hold the whole mirror onto the door.

Thanks for passing on a great junk yard score, Ian! My T/A will be happy and my clean and neat engine bay will thank you.

Mangus,
Are we ever going to meet you man? It would be nice if someone up North could plan a gathering for sometime this year. I would love to meet more crewbies and I think there are actually more members up there than in Oregon.

Cheers!

shizzle, wish I had seen this earlier. I think James has been looking for an AC delete box. Oh well. Sad

BTW, Ian, you still working at Schucks? I haven't seen the TA there recently. Confused

Well when I get back from the dyno I was going to head out to a JY out in bremerton that I think still has two of them. If so, I'll make sure to save one for him if he wants it.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to tell you guys--they transferred me to the 6th and pine store; not the one by highland hills/safeway/baxters, the one closer to downtown. Which is cool because they have a TON more stuff there. They even stock a bunch of thirdgen crap. Smile And they're a little more lenient on pricing there. Very Happy So if you need anything come on in.

Freakin' sweet! My band practices on 6th and Cushman, so I'm in the area regularly. I'll stop by if I see the 'Bird parked outside. Cool
