Iam loosing all my hair. lol.
OK, Now the car will go into open loop right away. But, I show no o2 voltage at all.
1.What up with this?
2. If you disconnect the o2 wire does it force the ECU to go into closed loop?
Maybe the wire is broken, I will check the voltage tomorrow.
Iam baffled, I looked in the gm manual but can't find it.
running like cra$.
thanks

| The ECM wont go into closed loop without the o2. If the o2 is disconnected, it should force the SES light to come on, and enter limp home mode. |

Well,
I should have re-read my post.
what I ment was
it goes into closed loop, with zero o2 voltage, it is hooked up.
O2 voltage is nada.
but yet is't in closed loop.
no ses light, no codes.
this shouldn't be correct?
Is there some way, or some condition that will force the ECM into closed loop?
I have looked but can't see to find anything on the web
any ideas?
thanks

Well,
In went back to the 32b mask just for kicks.
It did give me a SES light 44 like it should (o2)
I notice that there is
1. Map reading of .96 to .98 , but my car isn't MAP is MAF why is this?
2. the o2 sensor is flaged red (a problem o2) in 32b, but not the 6e mask
both masks show zero voltage when I look at the live data.
why would one flag it and the other not.
Iam a pain in your but, right.
thanks

Try enabling that flag. Then see what happens.
It's possible you killed the o2 by running so rich. |

OOOHHH,
That may be.
I gues the only other question that I have is why do I register a Map voltage?
Just de-select it in flags, and try it?
I put a new o2 in and its looks much better.
crap.
Now if I just leave it alone for a while, maybe we can drive the thing. LOL.
I data logged with the new o2,
I will see if I can import some data and post.
thanks

| Not sure about the map part. Does the voltage change like a maf reading would? |

Ya its kinda weird.
now its at about 1.96 to 1.98
o2 voltage always jumping up and down say 200 to 850
blm at 108 red

Too rich at idle. Use the MAF table 1 to adjust.
Never logged in tuner pro but you need to find a MAF output value. I remember on my autoxray scanner, it had Map and Maf reading. MAP was for something else I have no idea what.
See the GM/Sec at idle you are running at. Then go to the table and find that GM/Sec and corrosponding voltage, and lower the GM/sec reading. The maf has a variable voltage. You tell it how much air that =. So lowering the number, means less air, means less fuel calculated to put in. |
