well, you all know about my car... but just in case.

1986 MPFI 2.8L (LB8) firebird.

features/options:
white in color (repaint, but always white)
locking t-tops
2.8L v6 engine
manual 5speed tranny
manual windows
manual door locks
electric hatch pulldown WORKS
electric hatch release (i added)
rear locking storage lid (covers well, i added)
black interior with grey accents (along middle of seats, on part of doorpannels, FACTORY)
badgless, completly.
34MM/24MM sway bar combo
split fold down rear seat
map packets on backs of seats
3.23 rear end
aluminum rear brake drums (i added)

Pro's :
rebuilt @ about 110K has 150K now.
near complete suspension/steering rebuild 1 year ago. including springs front and rear, sway bar endlinks, all bushings EXCEPT sway bar bushings (poly/red) all ball joints, tie rods(complete) center link, idler arm.
frame is right, had "paceway frame and axel" make it right, to the tune of $400.
4th gen center console
140MPH cluster (swaped circuitry and face, maintaned original speedo equipment)
Cold Air Intake with lower air scoop that is closable during wet weather.
Evap canister deleted
no AC from factory. has "ram air" passanger compartment venting
headliner in ok shape, recovered last year..poorly.
wired for amplifier in rear
near full tuneup recently. replaced cap/rotor/plugs/wires(10.4MM!)/has heat boots/coil (53KVolt)
new MAF with 1yr gurantee
new rear hatch struts with "lifetime" guarantee @napa
new hood struts, no recipt, so no guarantee
new ttop seals
new wheel bearings
new brake pads
new shoes and ALL rear brake hardware besides the pistons
new drivers side door hinge (top/bottom) from www.top-downsollutions.com the DELUX greasable one. that door does not hang!
new TPS.
cruise control delete
4thgen washer bottle conversion
nothing running off of plennum vaccume except brakes
re-sealed rear deck lid. has not leaked yet.

cons:
t-tops leak... not bad. verry minor leak on passanger side. i believe the drvers side to be leak free now.. UPDATE. for sure no leak on driver side!!!
needs new shocks soon.
lowered by 1 1/4" in front. wish i had not done.
painted with "onestage" paint. meaning the clearcote is in the paint.
has mild header leak, i can hear it(makes car sound bad ass), i just can't get at it to fix it...
rear locking deck lid has tan carpet Rolling Eyes
could use a new clutch i think. it slipped on me once during that realy hot weak during the summer... seems fine now... but ya never know.
wiper delay does not work, wipers do, just only in the off/slow/fast capacity.
the passanger door lock does not match my keys Confused was replaced by prior owner and never re-keyed.

UPDATE: price now 1,000. a friend is going to give me 950 in a few weeks, i am entertaining better offers
the car has also just been proffesionaly detailed, and just passed a voulontary DEQ inspection (i have the little paper). it has a trip permit good until 03-24-06. laaast chaaaaance

Very Happy

EDIT* pics

There's alot of parts there for the $$. Too bad its a 2.8. BTW WS6 is 36mm front bar. Maybe thats a typo though.

you are correct. ws6= 36MM. now i am having trouble remembering if it has 34MM or 36MM..... i think it is 34. i'll double check.

and as far as being "only a 2.8" it'll give an auto 5.0 a run for it's money! it won't win, but it will hold it's own. you would be impressed (i think) Cool

Next project after that is poncho powered. Bought a 74 formula from a crewbie. I hope to make that 454 look like a toy.

Dont worry about Tony, being "owned" is a sore subject for him since Al Pacino played in Scarface, to represent his family Razz

SOLD!

my freind dustin finally came and looked at the car (well actualy his ex-girlfriend and her uncle came and looked at the car) and a deal was made. 1K. yay (i get my money/he gets the tittle on tuesday). that covers my exhaust system expenses on the GTA and leaves me with enough dough to purchase SFCs. but not enough to have em put on Rolling Eyes
