I need a shop to take my TH350 to. All the local ones wont touch my trans because it's well beyond stock. They all recommend the guy that actually built it, but he's in the process of looking for a new shop site and has no phone number.
Anyone have any experiances? |

I have plenty of experiences and no recommendations! This seems to be one of those industries that if you find someone good, stick with them. I have been essentially robbed multiple times.

Sticks are fun, but if I was into drag racing as much as Paul, i'd be staying with the auto too. You give up alot going to stick at the drags.
You try American in Woodland Paul? Duane's always done right by us. Not sure who he has managing the woodland outlet though. His main store is in Longview. |

Twin City Transmission in Washougal are the ones that built my TH350, they might work on yours. The number is (360) 335-0912. They do good work.

Probuilt 700R4, and a tight lock up converter. And still have money for giggle gas. |

Too bad you are so far away, I brought my trannys to Mike at Ed's Transmissions in Marysville (not the one in Everett) and he did a fantastic job. He was the only guy in there that knew what he was doing on a manual trans, and was the leading expert for all matters auto, particularly GMs.
Really knows his stuff!

Unless I find a dirt cheap garunteed T56 setup... just a Probuilt 700R4. Shop in town that does a friend of the families drag car transmissions, said he can build me a 700 that will last for the same price... might be worth the locality and warrenty. |
