Coils are there for a reason. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Vibration, mild bit of flexibility from chassis movement without stressing the line, and cooling. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

"Cooling" right next to the exhaust manifold.
It's a holdover from GM's body-on-frame days, but probably not a bad idea considering the ungodly amount of chassis and firewall flex in a thirdgen. |

"Flex" lines do just that, they flex. The more soft lines you add, the squishier your pedal will become. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Just put a couple spirals or some sort of anti-fatigue bends in the new lines with a tubing bender. No biggy.
Or, if you want to keep the factory proportioning valve just go to the yard and get some factory lines.
No reason to reinvent the wheel here. Just my two cents. |

I am running a braided steel flex line on mine. My pedal is squishy. |

Tony the braided has less flex. My guess air is trapped somewhere out the master is bypassing. Old contaminated fluid will do it too. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
