Some dude posted 19 photos in a write up how to install floor mats in his F150 (post #7).

http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1257783-princevaliums-upgrade-thread.html

I challenge you to find a more elaborate write up about something so obvious.

I honestly find greater irony in the fact that these morons are purchasing trucks with carpet just so they can cover the floors with rubber mats.

If only there was like a clever way around that problem. Cool

I kind of like that tailgate assist strut... Is something wrong with me?

Deeply wrong.

You're already losing credibility by not having big chains and latches hanging off your tailgate. Laughing

I'm pretty sure old man trucks like the Platinum can't be ordered with vinyl floor coverings anyway.

Although it is a little ironic that they spend several hundreds of dollars to "protect" their carpet with vinyl which also means they will never be able to appreciate their perfect carpet because they can't see it. It's like putting a bra on a car to protect the paint. Is it worth looking fugly to protect something you will never get to enjoy?

The logic of the car bra is lost on me as well. Confused

Too bad they don't make overpriced tailgate assist struts for old redneck trucks like mine. I don't need a tailgate step though, my 'gate is as low as a step already. Its kinda nice. Very Happy
