ok i just got my front brakes done new rotors and pads. after i broke them in they were just fine, but a couple weeks later one started to squeak. did i just f them up while i was breaking them in? do i have to get them turned again to get them to quiet down?

have you rechecked everything to make sure its all tight still? also did you go with cheap pads or rotors?.. either way get the rim off and inspect everything first.

Did you/they put the disc brake quiet goo on the pads /metal surfaces?

You also need to check the caliper mounting hardware. The slides need to be lubricated with high temp silicone grease, and not worn. Worn mounting hardware will cause vibration, which cause brake sqeel. Just watched a 1 hour video put out by Raybestos on this subject yesterday. Very imformative.
