I got the last piece of income tax paperwork in the mail today and filed online. Chose electronic deposit. Hopefully, by my birthday next month, I can order the cat-back exhaust I've wanted for some time.
Mad Hammer chambered exhaust. I don't know if there's any truth behind it, but I've heard they made these for the GMMG F-Bodies.

Obama and Illinois are taking about $4K - $6K more from me to redistribute to people that don't work at all. Of course, some of it goes to politicians that are struggling to become millionaires (economy is tough on everyone, you know).
Oh, I almost forgot that it also buys condoms for grade school children. |

At least it's going to something positive. Certainly don't need any more people breeding... _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

I'm in the same boat so to speak. Usually get 4 - 6K back each year but now I'm hoping I dont have to pay. Blaming the current administration for what needs to be done is just crazy talk though....Need to take a surgical knife to the budget ( including military spending) and raise taxes to get out of this mess. Keeping the tax cuts will pass the debt onto my kids kids kids. |

The system arrived on my doorstep today, a day earlier than projected and 10 days before my birthday. Happy Birthday to me!!! Now to find time and space to install it on the car, can't wait to hear what it sounds like...

Looks like two muffler outlet stubs and two chrome tips to me, Paul. |

Been seeing more and more people running this system on TGO. Do they sound like glasspacks or what? _________________

They always sounded like glass packs to me.
Computer monitor shows the picture better than phone. Looked like 4 tips on the phone! I was kind of excited minus the T shape it would have produced. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

It's up and in place. Not a whole lot louder than before, a little deeper tone. I had some issues with the way the intermediate pipe fit to the cat, it was supposed to slip inside and be clamped, but it was the same diameter. I used the facilities on the Navy Base to get it put up temporarily, then drove it to Kitsap Muffler to have it welded in place. Two hours of work for me, and less than an hour at Kitsap Muffler.

| I have a rattle now that I need to get rid of. It is the heat shield for the fuel tank. The exhaust does not touch it anywhere, but it will occasionally rattle. The shield itself feels to be securely in place, but definitely vibrating against something, seems only randomly at idle RPM, or slowing to idle. |

Aren't there 3 or 4 heat shields around the tank? Are all of them secure? _________________

There are at least three that I can think of off the top of my head. Two under the tank and one on the passenger side coming off the inside of the frame rail. |

| I have only 2 heat shields in the back. One is rather large and curves around the side. |

| I was mistaken, there are only two. One mostly flat between the hatch well and the panhard brace and the other curved and coming off the inside passenger frame rail. |
