On my cast iron calipers, there were hard lines to both calipers. That axle came from a 1983 Trans Am, later years changed to one caliper having a flex line. The only thing left from that axle is the housing...
Didn't the aluminum calipers had flex lines to both? |

83/84 I think were the changeover years. The brake lines on my axle from a 1983 T/A had standard fittings, after that, they changed to metric. |

It;s not quite as simple as that. The line on my '85 was different than the line on the axle I got from Mike ('88 ) and the lines you gave me were different still. I think I had to order a line for an '88 IROC to get the right one but I don't recall specifically.
It's a mess, I know. |

The stock line from my '84 was a direct fit to the '98 Z28 3-channel axle lines.
PBR calipers IIRC do have a rubber lines on both sides, no hardline. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

My stores computer says i can get pads and rotors for it
and i found these

whats the difference between a borg warner HD or non HD axle
also i have been reading about proportion valves and they changed in 89 i think, the threads are different, so which prop valve do i need the older style or newer style, TGO was confusing because it said for a rear end thats older you need the older valve, but it wont screw in and nobody had a solution... _________________

As I said, you can get brake components for it as it shared them with the GM axles. You will have a hard time getting any parts for the axle itself, not even the housing gasket. I could have made that part clearer.
The 9-bolt is a Borg Warner axle. The lines you linked to are for a GM 10-bolt. In catalogs it is often referred to as "performance option", "G92 axle", "HD axle" or "BW axle".
Use the prop valve for Delco cast iron calipers.
I still think it would be easiest to hit up all the local yards and find an '86-'89 IROC or WS6 Trans Am and snag the prop valve and all the lines you want. |

Camaro didn't get the 9-bolt until '87 though.
Trans Am could have had a 9-bolt as an option way back to '83 or '84 IIRC. But no cars had them after '89. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

are these for a 10 bolt as well??
http://thirdgenranch.com/-strse-1010/82-dsh-92-Camaro-fdsh-Firebird-rear-brake/Detail.bok
it has the 82-88 option
if i use a prop valve from a 91 would that work or no cause it would fit the threads fine but it would push more pressure to the rear cause 91 brakes are bigger, or would a aftermarket one work? _________________

That's a crock. The only thing they can't sell you off the top of my head is a used catalytic converter. Everything else is yard rules. I did get refused once on a valve body for an automatic but only because they wanted me to buy the whole trans instead... _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

| Only yard on Mountain Highway with a G92 car that I can think of would be All Auto. Did you check the three or four out at Pick-N-Pull? |

| Can you get away with saying they're something else? A lot of those people really don't know jack shizzle about the part that you're showing them. |
