Be sure to let us all know when you do this... that way, we can all have our cars tucked safely tucked away in the garage, (or barn).

you fail to realize, the majority of people here are the ones who aren't the "most people"
they're the ones who live on straight stretches with nothing around.

food for thought:

texas highways:

290
Posted Limit ~ 60mph
Actual Speed of Traffic ~ 75-85mph
My Speed ~ 85-90

I-10
Posted Limit ~ 55 - 65 (depending on area)
Actual speed of traffic ~ 65-70 (depending on area)
My Speed ~ 65-70 (too many cops on I10 Surprised )

I45
Posted Limit ~ 55-65 (depending on area)
Actual Speed of Traffic ~ 65-80 (depending on area)
My Speed ~ 70-75

610
Posted Limit ~ 65
Actual Speed of Traffic ~ 75-85
My Speed ~ 90-95

only good thing about texas highways is that traffic moves fast Very Happy

ack bummer dude.

My oldest boy Chris came down to Redmond with us for a few days. He took off Sunday night because him and his buddies had a party going for the 4th. I told him to take it easy (like a good daddy will) but he didn't listen and got popped doing 44 in a 25 in Sandy Oregon. Sad

I however was a mature responsible adult (of course!)

north oregon I5, oregon isnt as anal about some stuff as washington is. i have heard many a horror story about complete bullshit tickets from out of town guys in washington. plus this guy at work had to spend all day at scales readjusting weight on his truck in order for them to let him go. i think we eventually had to send up a second truck just to get the weight off the back axel to meet the limit. new truck isnt as evenly spread :\ (i work at a lumber yard, the trucks move the lumber Razz to job sites) actually my buddy drove my car up there and got a ticket in it before i had even considered buying it. lol some cop lit him up and fed him crap but he couldnt stay up there to fight it so he just had to pay it.
