So I was looking at them and the part numbers and besides the first two letters, they was same as moog. So are they made by same company?

Most steering components I've seen have the same 'base' part number. It dictates what style tie rod, ball joint, etc it is. Prefixes and suffixes are the manufacturer indicator. Like bulbs, you can have an H3 bulb that's made by any number of people, Osram, Wagner, Eiko, but it's still an H3. Same with chassis stuff.

I'm with stupid

Open RockAuto or any parts catalog and start looking at the listings.

For instance I happened to punch up RockAuto just now and go to the listings for a thirdgen idler arm. They sell seven different items by six different manufacturers but there are only three different part numbers between them!

Don't die, buy good steering parts. Wink
