E-brake cables.
Softline from axle to chassis so you can match up the threads.
If you are working by yourself the easiest way IMHO is to leave the tires and torque arm off and get the tail of the car up high. |

You do need the prop valve.
Jack stands go under the chassis right in front of the low control arms.
Al took some pictures of me dropping the axle on his car in this thread:

| So anyways got the gut to throw in lines, prop valve and ebrake cables for 100 for all. But it has 2.77 gears. , so question is cam that be remedied easily and half way inexpensively? |

The rear end is tough as hell. It's the good stuff.. BUT that gearing sucks and parts are a bitch to get besides costing $$$
You'll notice a definate performance drop. I went from 2.73 to 3.23 and the performance increase was night/day. So going the other way would suck. |

If all you want is posi.
10 bolt will most likely hold up fine for most people on here.
If you want to upgrade to posi and discs... wait. |

Going with Skyler's diff would seem way easier to swap in and you'd have the better gear ratio. _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

He said he allready has 3.23. So unless there's something wrong with his rear all he gains is the posi.
Not that I want to kill Skylers sale. 3.23 posi drum is what I run and I like it. |
