Last summer he ran into issues after going heads and cam. Fast forward a couple of months, the car has a built 402, rebuilt A4, new one peice driveshaft and rebuilt posi. It also recieved a complete custom engine and transmission tune at the the time the stroker went it. When he picked it up their was a nasty sound and vibration coming from the diff.

He had Randies Ring and Pinion go throught the diff last week and added a set of 3.7ish gears to the diff. Guess the noise came frome a ham fisted tech impacting the pinion nut down to 300 ' lbs and recrushing the crush sleeve.
He brought it over last night and took me for a ride. He had to be gentle on the rear diff, needed another 250 miles to break them in.
Man, it so easey to forget what real accelration feels like. Like I have said before, his car is stupid fast. The latest settup should be good for high bottom 11's, high 10's NA. The shortblock was built for a 300 hit and he has it settup. Cannot imaging what that would feel like...

My brother has taken alot of flack from people on a couple other forums for not making it to a couple of middle of the night contests. One guy in particular called him out on two forums then the typical internet trash talk pig pile insued.

I find it funnier than hell that all of the lame asses that ran their mouth about my brother and his car dont have shizzle to say now. He pulled a gutted full on race car out of the whole and all the guy could say is that he had traction issues and had to let off. He had new slicks on the car and got hole shot by a cxar with a set of 255/40/17 street tires. Tires are Star Spec summer tires, not drag radials. The video that is floating around is not the best video. My bro said they had one clean run from 40 MPH ( not what my bro wanted but the guy with the gutted 5th gen asked for that speed becuase of traction issues ) and lost by about 1 - 1.5 cars to 130+. Keep in mind my brothers car is a legit street car, no weight reduction, AC, traction control etc and my brother is pushing 350+ pounds. Not trying to stir the pot but so many people online piled on my bro, I am impressed he didnt go postal when he met some of those same people face to face. After the runs no one their would run my brother, not even the guy on the 600 sport bike.

My brother stopped by Speed Secrets tonight to BS with Ellis and his cohorts. He wound up running a guy that has a 454 warhawk blocked 454 LS, 4L80E'd, 9"d 0? transam with 335 drag radials.

What I can say is that my brothers car yarded it out of the hole ( on street tires, not drag legal slicks) and it kept the lead until about a 110 MPH. The TA went past him slowly. Then it got scary.

The brakes on the TA went out as it was entering a 90 degree corner. The TA wound up on the opisite side of a 12'w x 5' deep drainige ditch.

I wouldnt have believed it, but my yougest brother was riding shotgun with Sticks and filmed it. The guy with the TA also had a passenger filming, doubt that video will ever be posted.

I have seen my brothers vid and pictures, crazy....

Street racing?

Once I crested into the 10's and started getting down to 9's I retired from the street racing scene, too many things begin to happen when you are traveling that fast. Hopefully he learned from this and will take it to the track.

I am just as guilty as everyone else and it took a few mishaps like that to learn myself!

Sounds like he has one bad ride man!

Yes, he has a bad ass street ride. The TA that piled up in a corn feild was a low 10 second car. I keep telling him to take it to the track. His responce is that it doesnt have a cage and is his dailey driver. He built it as a super car killer and isnt interested in making it a drag car.
The car gets pulled on the top end by the 600 RWHP cars so he is installing the 200 shot of nitrous. He will wind up making it on the local news soon.

So I have been banned from LSx nation for suggesting they eat crow after running their mouths about my bro's car. So many guys have trashed my brother on that site, then tracked him down on his regualer haunts and my bro hasnt said boo. Guess I am just an ass hole for being pissed off at the lack of manning up after being wrong. When guys with 14 second cars feel like they can trash some one with a legit 10 second street car I just lose it. Not to mention they are trashing my bro. WTF is wrong with people, especially the local morons that think they can question someones manhood on a public forum becuase they suck the midget kings dong? Like I have told these idiots before, we live within 50 miles of each other, the trash talk will come back to roost. Better hope your as big and bad as you portray yourself to be online.. Thats what got me banned. Physical threats.

To the guys that freaquent that site, understand who you are freinding. Bunch of low lifes with no morals. They ripped my bro for helping a guy get a job at Boeing. Said he couldnt have helped and had 3 pages of crap for even insinuating that he could help. The guy got the job and was told that it had to do with with my bro's help. Guy was a vet, as is my brother. Complete, self centered morons. I helped a couple of members out with providing access to a lift and tolols. I didnt know these guys from Adam. All I got was shizzle from them after the fact.

Trust me, some of these guys are the lowest form of human beings you will ever run across. Unfortunatly, the local guys are the bottom of the barrel.

The guy with that wrecked his TA has asked for an internet black out which I understand. But.....None of those piles of idiots will ever acknowledge what happened a couple of weeks ago. A built 454 4th gen TA got drug up to 135 MPH on a public road by a DOT street tired STREET LEGAL ( diet coke can eat shizzle ) by a non lightened 402 05 GTO with a 390 pound driver and my yougest brother ( 180 pounds) filming. They can say what they want, but I saw the video. TA got pulled.

LSX nation can kiss my ass. Bunch of immature idiots.

I know it's easier to say this then to live it, but I wouldn't let it get to you. Wink You can't get everybody to respect you. And you can't get everybody to like you. Having that kind of expectation relieves a lot of the frustration. And maybe when a fun hobby grows into competition then it loses some of the fun?

Good news is we all like you and respect you, and your bro', so you don't need those people. But uh... maybe next time just leave by your own choice instead of going out in a flaming ball of fire. Laughing

Vid link from my brothers car. My youngest brother was fliming ( not Sticks). The TA had cut outs and slicks, my brothers car was on DOT legal 255's.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPTjIidK_5k&feature=relmfu

I have seen a portion of the video from the TA, just not the splash down part. The view from that angle looked different do to the wide angle lense. Not bad for a daily driven, street tired, full weight ( AC, stereo, spare tire etc.) car against a full on drag car.
