Went out to the junkyard in Sherwood on HWY 99(aka Pacific HWY). Went nosing around for some parts for friends, couldnt find any, went looking around for chevy cars for what had to be atleast 30 minutes (with a full tool box, it felt a lot longer!), and then I saw a 3rd gen... and then another, and another, and another! There was a 87 RS/Berlinetta, a 90Z, a 91 RS, and a 84 RS..

I got the rear bumper, the sideskirts and door panel ground effects all for 50 dollars! I could have gotten the front nose ground effect that was in great shape, but I didnt feel like being out there any more, and I didnt need it, so I left it for whoever might later on.

The best deal I found on the net for these 5 pieces was 200+ shipping... so here's a raised glass of root beer for me! (21 next march Razz

Excellent work! I hadn't been junkyarding until I met up with this crew. Got the pedal assembly and a few other misc. parts for my auto to manual tranny swap. It's a blast and you can get some good deals.

i myself also would like the 91-92 gfx, i still have some paint left over from when my car got painted to. =) i know a guy who would paint it for me as well
