So I've known for a while now that my wife is pregnant but didn't want to say anything till we knew everything was good. We are very excited, it was planned and all that, and I was secretly hoping it was a boy so we could, well, go do boy stuff. Went to the doctor today with the wife for the 20 week check up so they can observe development and found out we are having a GIRL! I don't think I've ever been so excited and proud about anything before in my life. Had to tell you guys!

Congrats Travis. The good news is, when she is old enough to start dating, you have a whole host of redneck, f-body driving buddies. We can just happen to organize a "gun cleaning" party that night. Wink

Hahah....I kid..well mostly...but congrats to you and your wife.

Congrats, man! Very Happy

I have a 1yr old son and I can't imagine my life w/o him. I've learned that in an f-body if you slide the passenger seat forward you can easily fit a rear facing child seat behind it. Wink

Old thread, but I have been searching for a good car seat. My daughter is two. She is not big enough for the smaller booster seat. So her seat is huge. It hangs over back seat quite a bit. Was hoping to get someone to elder me some hooks for the latch system, bit alas no I guess felt comfortable or wanted to. Anyways so those with cat seats, do you have problems with seat hanging over and if not which seat do you have.

Well i guess since you guys brought it up... Yes, kiddo is doing great. 6 months old, teaching her sign language, she loves pears, yams, sweet potatoes, apple, doesnt like beans. Plays with toys and is otherwise a funny kid. Always smiling and starting to make interesting noises like growling and going dadadadadadadadadadadadadada.

That's awesome that you are teaching her sign language at such an early age!

Congrats man. Everyone with older children always says " the time goes by so fast". Well, it doesnt feel like it for the first 5 years, then it seems to speed up and then you realize the first 5 years feel like they were yesterday. Enjoy being a father, there is no other feeling like it.
