So my wife saw a white 89 rs for sale in my old neighborhood while we were looking for a house to rent, she told me go look at it I want it, not taking her seriously I kept driving and she kept bugging me about it on the way home so I turned to her and said don't screw with me right now...are you totally serious about this? You want a thirdgen?Well yeah I like them. So I dropped her off at home and went to look at it, decent shape has a bra on it that wreaked havoc on the front end, I'm ripping it off asap, drivers t top has part of the black bar thing broken and the guy silivoned it so it leaks, Luke's hooking me up with another one, and has a backup trans for me if this one fails

White 89 RS 2.8l auto, not in bad shape and I got it for 900$, the AC even works lol only problem besides the leak is the starter. Damn thing clicks randomly when you go to start it, cranks fine but instead of the average once in a while click I have to cycle the key until it cranks bad starter if I'm right, so if anyone has a v6 starter in good shape ill buy it from you the car is my wife's so I want it in perfect shape before she dailys the thing.

Current plan is to do a tune up oil change and seafoam get the starter replaced and Sep the t top, after its road worthy I'm buying some tractor paint and spray the car with a new white in my soon to be shop, were movint into a house with a shop on the property so the camaro's will have a nice dry place to park lol

Here's a picture of it, not bad for 900

I have a starter but the engine is still completely assembled and in the car. Any other parts you need for a 2.8 let me know

Jesus.

Judging by the condition of the glass I'd say there's a lake in the carpet pad.

Why the primer under the mirror? Someone tear it off and have it patched back in?

The crack is on the outside.glass, nothing on the inside, the floor is wet from the broken chunk of the t top....as for the mirror....your guess is as good as mine I didn't feel any imperfections as far as I can tell it needs a bit of tlc but nothing I'm not used to once the starter is fixed and its tuned up it'll just be aesthetic I'm taking it to work and detailing the crap out of it when I get the starter working properly

He was saying the windows are mighty foggy, therefore drawing a conclusion that there's a lake on the floorboards. Wink
