8+ inches in Ferndale and we hit 9.2* last night. Currently sitting at 13*. Cold and lame. But the e30 is doing good.
Ian, is yours lowered at all?

Nope! Stock height for now. I'm not touching the suspension until the summer. And even then probably just shocks/struts/bushings. Haven't decided if I'll get some springs. Your old crosslaces are going on it. Very Happy Lower might make it look a bit better.

Yes! Wait, what? 5 lug on the e30? If you lower it I have done the research to make it better. The rear has a weird semi trailing arm that toes out and cambers in if you lower it. I have already done the math to adjust if/when you need to know to bring it back to stock alignment.

Yeah, 5lug. Probably just do adapters for now and later on look into doing the whole hub/brake conversion (because obviously I want larger brakes on this thing. Laughing )

So all day I have been sitting around and listening to trees crash down. I am parked under one with no way to move car. But I think we may have gotten passed the worst with no branches atop of car. Smile but I did have to give the tree a trimming. Branches that are normally 9 feet up were touching the Camaro. They got cut in half.

No power since wed night. PSE says atleast 4 days. Spent yesterday digging cars out from under trees before they came down. Chopping fallen trees on neighborhood roads. BBQ dinner. And rigging a car battery with inverters to run my fish tanks. My biggest coolest fish isn't looking so hot. :O(

The power was flickering here last night as well so I mixed a little bit of 2 stroke fuel for my lil 500 watt generator in case I need to power the fish tank. My mollies had babies a few weeks ago too.

Sorry to hear about your power outages and stuff fellas. I've had power the whole time. Very Happy

Ever since I got my big generator I haven't had much chance at all to use it! 4 years now and I've needed it twice, for a total of 3 days. Used it a few times to power skill saws and other power tools but other then that my $450 worth of emergency power generation is sitting wasted.

Now when I didn't have this big genny? I seemed to lose power multiple times a year and had to set up a battery rotation with my big 12v power converter to run my fish tanks, microwave, heater, lights, etc.

With my kinda luck, I really should be looking into buying "End of the World" insurance to ensure that it doesn't come about!

Black, omni sealer primer.

I just fired it up. We are having rain now and I didn't want the 8" of snow to turn into 8" of ice when it freezes again tonight. So its happy and warm and waiting for the roads to clear so I can get it into the garage.

We didnt get hit quite as bad as you northern folks, maybe 10" to a foot here. What looked like 4" of snow wrecked my tonneau cover. I thought the truck felt like it was riding really heavy in the rear. Turns out the weight reversed all the aluminum bows. Kinda weird because i've had 3x that amount of snow on the cover before without any issues.

Part of the roof on the old house next door collapsed too. As far as power outages only had a couple .. one about 7hrs long. Sometimes its nice to have a wood stove. Smile No problem with my fish yet. Expecting some power outages tonight probably.. getting quite windy out there.

This peice of advise for anyone with a vehicle they give a rats ass about and have it parked in a carport. GET IT OUT FROM UNDER IT! Lots of dry snow + warm temps + rain = squished cars. A similar weather condition happened in the late 90's. Alot of cars were crushed when apartment complex carports collapsed. It also sank several dacks along with boats tied to them.

Trace, call Cindy, they lost power this morning. Woody's generator doesnt have the ass to run the well pumps. You know how dumb horses are, they will die of dehydration before they realize they can eat snow...

We have had power out for about 24 hours now. We have about 6 fallen trees on our powerlines, so it may be awhile till we get some. Just hope my turtle doesn't go into hibernation
