| Can anyone recommend a good replacement steering box? I bought a rebuilt one about a year ago and it was sloppy from the start and getting worse since. Tonight I decided to pull it off and bench adjust it myself. It's slightly better but still pretty bad. With the tires on the ground I was able to turn the input shaft at the box probably 20-30 degrees with no movement on the pitman arm. |

| Why replace? Find a nice quick-ratio junkyard box. |

I suppose I'll give it a shot. I'm not in a rush.
I did find my tire chains from my Mustang while I was up at the garage though. They fit the Firebird's tires great. I'll definitely need them tomorrow crossing the pass. Had a lot of fun driving around drifting and doing donuts last night |

While we're on the subject of steering boxes can't you adjust them? I've got a quick ratio box I've been afraid to put in fearing it may be worse that my current one, is there a way to determine if its in good shape before hand? _________________ If you expect a kick to the balls and get a slap to the face its still a victory
