First snow of the season at my place! I know some of you already got snow, but I haven't, and I always get terribly excited when the snow falls...
First it started accumulating. The red Camaro is taking up my carport right now so the Z has to sit outside for a bit.
Then I went and had some fun in my Subaru. I cruised around the hilly areas and pulled people out of ditches for a couple hours. People really don't know how to drive in the snow around here.
A couple hours, we had 2-3 inches and it stopped snowing. It's supposed to snow more for the next few days, so here's hoping for that.

lmao @ yuppies getting pulled out by a Subaru.
The rain started turning to snow around lunchtime and by dark we had an inch of accumulation and it was coming down fast. Stopped after a few hours and froze up hard.
Most of the county people can sorta drive so no one was in the ditch but I did get the diesel rig sideways quite a lot. |

Believe me, we got a lot of yuppies up here.
You better believe I was sideways around pretty much every corner too. Gotta learn how the car handles in the snow! This is my first serious snow with it. My Subie is a pretty capable snow vehicle I've found out. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

| Snohomish / Millcreek had a couple of inches by 6PM last night and it's been snowing all morning today. Couldnt help it, took the convertible out for a spin then the Tahoe. I think the convertible did better than the Tahoe when the Tahoe was in 2wd. Tahoe doesnt have a posi. Even in 4wd the back end doesnt track with the front, almost looped it a bunch of times. |

I have a dusting this morning, maybe 1/2" accumulation with nothing on the street. There is more in the forecast though, but we'll see _________________ 92 Camaro

Come on it's not that bad today, I had a forum member drive out and pick up some parts. It was pretty light down here in the valley, the snow basically melted off twice before it came down again and froze. _________________ 1988 GTA, 5.3/T56 in the works. |

| You kids in the valley caught a break. I drove up North to help Gabe with the fuel pump in his fourth gen and the snow was nearly completely thawed from Auburn up through Renton. North of Bellevue it was coming down fast and the roads were rough. Everett had maybe 4" down. |

| I'm not complaining. At least not yet. Got another dusting this evening and accumulated about an inch. I try to stay off the roads here when it gets sloppy, not because I can't drive in it (I can, Michigan driver here), but because of all the idiots that think they can. |

8+ at my house in Lake Stevens when I got home from work. Too dark for a picture right now, but I managed to drive uphill through my yard just to see if I could. Pushing snow with my front bumper but had no traction problems. Snow level was above the bottom of my doors. Most of the main roads up here have been plowed but I also happened to find some unplowed and relatively untraveled backroads to cruise around on for a bit.
The real storm is supposed to hit tonight though, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow's drive to work.
All slushy in Everett today during my lunch hour.

| I am dissapointed in this season so far. There is not enough snow and too many poison-spraying plows around. |

BMW + studs = yeeehaww.
The car is amazingly predictable, even on the completely iced over roads. Normal driving and I'm perfectly fine. It only swings the ass end out when I stomp on it...although I've been stomping on it a lot. _________________

Haha! I am totally stoked. We had about 6-8" down this morning so I promptly went out and wasted half a tank of diesel fuel brodying around. |

No highway legal vehicle does better in the snow than a diesel 4x4 truck. All that weight on the front tires, massive low end grunt, and no traction in the back make for a fun time.
They are not so hot on ice though, especially when they have an allison transmission. The TCM logic on my truck has almost got the truck completey sideways on freeway overpasses a couple of times. Talk about pucker factor, 60 MPH and looking at the gaurdrail just becuase I let of the throttle. |

Well I woke up to 4-5 inches of snow and called my install manager to tell him there's no way in hell the camaro could even get out of the spot so I've been sinking around in the snow, its all ice layered now so we did some downhill skiing with a lack of skis haha
Good thing I have Thursday and Friday off, I'm not attempting to drive this year, last year was a nightmare, unless of course the parking lot by my apartment clears up then ill be doing some sliding with the car _________________ If you expect a kick to the balls and get a slap to the face its still a victory

| I gave it a try this morning, got over the hill from my place without much problem and onto the main thoroughfare in East Bremerton. Getting over the hill was the easy part, once on Wheaton Way, I couldn't keep the car straight, so decided not to make the trek to Kingston, which I heard was worse. Called my supervisor and found that only about 1/3 of my group made it in. |
