While searching a wrecking yard for Flea's parts. I discovered I was sitting on top of a nice front bumper cover. I'd looked for a good one before and wasnt able to find one so I jumped on this one. Only problem is it WAS red. I also snagged some real nice front turn signals and new bumperettes while I was at it.
I just picked the cover up from the painters tonight.
Now I need to get busy and clean/polish/wax the rest of the car so it has a half ass chance of matching.
Something funny, cast into the back of the cover it says "Made by the Colonels in the good old US OF A!" |

That turned out real good. Would have been better to leave it red and color match the car but hey, brand new nose = goodness

It's always been warped pretty good. Then a few years ago I hit 2 different dogs 6months apart. One banged it up, the 2nd actually broke a chunk out of it. And of course the paint started to spider where it took the hit. I'll post pics to show the difference when I get to working on it. |

| Lol I hit a dog the other night. Dog was ok but I have about a 3 inch crack and a busted parking lamp. Also found out the hard way that the parking lamps from ground effect cars dont fit the holes in the bumper for non ground effect cars :/ |
