time has come where i need new tires, im looking at the nitto INVO tires, i found a used set of them with a lot of tread left all 4 for $240 which is good cause they are $153 each new they are 255/50/17 which are too big for up front but my question is will that size fit the rear? i figured i could buy those 4 for rear tires and get two brand new ones for up front that are 245/45/17 like i have now

I had 255/50 16 on mine with tons of room.don't see why those wouldn't work.

Are you running 17x8? As long as your backspacing is OK so you don't hit the outside fender lip, they should work, but will be fairly tall. I run 255/45/17 front/rear on my car, they are about .5" taller than stock, going to a 255/50 will be even taller.

Is that the only size you can get that tire in? I would probably not run something that tall on my car, unless it was my only option.
